Information

The train station is just a five-minute walk away. From there, there are direct connections to Haarlem (15 minutes) and Amsterdam (30 minutes). If you change trains in Haarlem, you can also travel to Alkmaar (1 hour) and Leiden (40 minutes).

From March 1st to October 31st, you can enjoy extensive dining at more than 25 beach clubs on the beach.
Here are my favorites:

  • Tent 6 (organic)

  • Ubuntu (upscale)

  • Thalassa (fish)

  • Beach Club 10 (casual)

There are also two very good Greek restaurants: Martha and Filoxenia.
For Italian food I recommend Ristorante Andrea or MMX.

Le Bar is always cozy – they offer breakfast and delicious sandwiches for lunch.

For the best and most exceptional food, you should definitely go to Smaak Zandvoort.

Parking in Zandvoort is no longer free anywhere.
You can park for a fee at the LDC-Centrum Garage (150 m) or at the P-De Zuid parking lot (1.1 km). Both cost approximately €15 per 24 hours.

On-street parking is also possible, but often significantly more expensive. Current rates can be found at the nearest parking meter, where you can also pay directly.

Free parking is available in Aerdenhout, on Merellaan or Spechtlaan. This is the nearest town. The bus takes you to Zandvoort in less than 10 minutes. The bus stop is just 150 meters from the house.

The house has a bathroom with shower on the ground floor.
Toilet paper and shampoo are provided, as are a hairdryer and a cosmetic mirror.

The kitchen is well equipped with storage containers, egg cups, an extensive set of dishes and cutlery, a large selection of pots and pans, a cooler bag with ice packs, and much more.

There are toys and other things for children to keep them busy.

A parasol, beach chairs, a handcart and beach toys are available for the beach.

The nearest supermarket is Albert Heijn (150 m).
However, if you want to shop cheaper, I recommend the Dirk van den Broek supermarket (1 km).

Most other shops can be found in Kerkstraat, Grote Krocht and Haltestraat.

In Beverwijk you will find the Bazaar – a colorful mix of shops, outlets, market stalls and restaurants from all over the world.
In spring, a visit to Keukenhof with its beautiful flowers is especially worthwhile!

In Zandvoort you can also:

  • Play tennis at TC Zandvoort,

  • visit the Healthclub Zandvoort gym or

  • Try a yoga class on the beach!

Oosterhouse is located in Zandvoort –

a cozy family apartment in the center,

near the North Sea.
